Test Search SEO Experiment on My Blog

I’m going to test search my own blog and do a comprehensive SEO experiment on my projects.

The first experiment is going to be on my WordPress blog. Yes. This one.

I will use SEO Software like GSA to optimize my blog. There are some other tools like semi-dedicated proxy and catch-all email but I want to make this post as simple as possible.

So I started the experiment on 8/19/18 and this was the original state:

SEO TEST SEARCH

LOL. I know. What can I say? A brand new WordPress blog is worthless in my opinion. But this is where the test search becomes more exciting.

I must bring the numbers up so my SEO experiment is successful.

The Keyword I Choose for the SEO Test

I choose the keyword “Test Search” because it has low competition (KD) worldwide and also has a decent search volume of 8,300.

I start by making sure I have the word on my blog tag. Then, I want to write decent amount of content using the variety of the words.

For example, if my main keyword is “Test Search,” my secondary keyword would be “SEO Test Search,” “Blog Test Search,” “SEO Experiment,” and so on.

Since Google doesn’t like thin websites, I must write enough content to be credible (500-2000 words). In fact, all of my SEO clients have a minimum of 800 word article on their blog.

Using SEO Software

So after I have one post that I want to promote, I go ahead and start up my SEO software (GSA) to start building links to my WordPress blog.

Like I mentioned before, I also use semi-dedicated proxy and catch-all emails to run my GSA SEO campaign for better results.

The goal is to improve my blog overall ranking, URL rating, and also Domain Rating.

How Much Content do I Need for the Test Search?

I’m not sure, but I’m not too worried about that because I plan to write continuous update on the project. If you need an answer, I’d say 5 articles for a brand new blog is good to start.

Remember: Google doesn’t like thin pages so make sure your content has more than 500 words. The more text the better for, not only Google, but other search engines as well.

There are several content spinner that we can use to create Tier 2 content very quickly. This is the free tool I use.

It is very easy to do and the quality of article you get is excellent, especially if you manually spin the content.

Getting Ready for The SEO Test Search

Ok. It looks like I’m ready to start the test. Again, you can follow my experiment by clicking here.

I hope you find this experiment useful. I’m looking forward to bringing you updates on my project.

Word of Caution Before Starting My Experiment

Please keep in mind, I’m not responsible for any of your action. In other words, I’m not responsible if your website is banned by Google. Do your own SEO Search Campaign at your own risk.

  1. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head.

The problem is something which not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.

Now i’m very happy that I found this during my search for something regarding this.
